Agrii are looking to employ a Contracting Operator for an exciting new role based in Methlick
Agrii is a leading provider of agronomy services, committed to delivering innovative solutions to the agricultural sector. We are currently seeking a dedicated Contracting Officer to join our team in order to focus on the safe and effective application of Crop Protection Products, Micronutrition, and Fertiliser to a range of Agricultural Areas and farms in and around Aberdeenshire.

Additionally, our next contracting operator will be responsible for:

  • Driving various Agricultural application tools and ATV-style equipment.
  • Driving to farms and operating contract spraying machines.
  • Filling application equipment safely to the correct instructions.
  • Following all instructions given on company worksheets/job sheets.
  • Loading, unloading, and checking goods against order forms.
  • Placing goods in vans, trailers, bowsers, and other equipment.
  • Moving heavy packages and pallets using forklift machinery.
  • Maintaining a neat, tidy, and safe work area.

The successful post holder will be needed to be well organised with an ambition to work within the agriculture industry.
A driving licence is essential for this role.
Experience driving large vehicles or HGV’s, & ATV’s is beneficial, but not essential as we will provide all relevant training.
It would also be beneficial to have either a PA1, PA2 or PA4 qualification.
This role does require manual work.
This position comes with paid overtime as well as a competitive salary and benefits package,

Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
