ABOUT PLAY MANDARIN

Play Mandarin delivers joyful, structured Mandarin learning for children in London across schools and community venues. We celebrate Chinese culture, play-based pedagogy, and measurable progress.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proficiency in Traditional and Simplified Chinese.
• Experience working with children (early years or primary preferred).
• Passion for engaging children through play-based learning.
• Strong classroom management and safeguarding awareness.
• Must hold or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS check.
• Completion of safeguarding and child protection training (courses provided).
• Contractor Teachers must maintain valid public liability insurance.

• Deliver high-quality, engaging Mandarin lessons for children.
• Arrive 15 minutes before class to prepare and set up.
• Upload lesson plans and materials in advance to the company system.
• Submit weekly after-class outlines using company templates.
• Ensure safeguarding and health & safety standards are met.
• Take attendance and update student records after each class.
• Maintain confidentiality of Play Mandarin’s teaching resources and student data.
• Wear Play Mandarin lanyard (and cap for outdoor sessions).
