We are launching all of our brands onto Shopify and are looking for a Shopify Marketing Specialist to own the day-to-day health, optimization, and execution of our e-commerce stores. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the Shopify storefronts, identifying issues, improving performance, supporting marketing and technical initiatives, and working closely with our internal teams, external Shopify consultants, and web developers. Experience with NetSuite is a major advantage and represents a top-tier candidate profile for this role. Company Brief: We are looking to match this specialist with a privately owned company specializing in the distribution of marine dock parts and supplies, with a strong and growing e-commerce operation. The business serves both B2B and B2C customers and is focused on driving revenue through efficient sales processes, targeted marketing, and an excellent customer experience. As the company continues to scale, they are seeking a dedicated digital marketing professional who can support customer acquisition, lead nurturing, and retention efforts—primarily through high-performing digital and e-commerce initiatives. This role will play a key part in converting inbound interest, supporting sales initiatives, and strengthening long-term customer relationships across domestic and international markets. Responsibilities Shopify Store Management & Optimization Own the day-to-day health of Shopify stores (“walk the floor”) Identify and fix broken links, UX issues, and technical inconsistencies Manage SKUs, products, collections, pricing, and metadata Ensure site accuracy, performance, and functionality across all brands Support Shopify SEO and CRO improvements (on-page, product pages, navigation, conversion flows) Collaborate with design and marketing teams on site updates and optimizations Technical & Cross-Functional Collaboration Join all relevant technical and e-commerce calls (Shopify consultants, web dev, Google Ads, marketing) Act as the primary Shopify point of contact across teams Work closely with developers to implement fixes, enhancements, and new features Integrations & Systems (High Priority) Support and manage Shopify integrations across the tech stack NetSuite experience is a strong plus (inventory, order, financial integrations) Champion integrations for newly acquired companies For senior-level candidates: lead technical calls and manage Shopify projects end-to-end Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or a related field is preferred 3+ years of hands-on Shopify experience in an e-commerce environment Proven experience maintaining, optimizing, and troubleshooting Shopify stores Experience working in product-based or e-commerce businesses Comfortable working remotely and independently Strong working knowledge of e-commerce operations and workflows Nice to Have Skills NetSuite experience (highly preferred / top-tier qualification) Shopify SEO and conversion rate optimization (CRO) Familiarity with Google Ads from a technical or implementation perspective Exposure to Amazon e-commerce environments Experience working with multiple brands or storefronts Basic understanding of HTML/CSS (not required, but helpful) Ideal Candidate Profile Hands-on Shopify specialist who enjoys executing, fixing, and optimizing Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning the store day-to-day Able to identify issues independently without needing constant direction Strong collaborator who can work across marketing, tech, and external vendors Comfortable joining and contributing to technical discussions and calls For senior candidates: confident leading integrations and implementation projects end-to-end Monthly compensation range of $2,000–$4,000 USD, depending on experience and demonstrated competency Monthly health and wellness reimbursement, capped at $50 USD
