Purpose In this exciting position you will be supervising engineering contractors and support engineering projects and maintenance activities on site, ensuring that the site safety rules, technical standards, best practices and GMP rules are adhered to. Core Responsibilities Day to day supervision of all site engineering contractors. The management of Permit-To-Work (PTW) system. Monitoring day to day aspects of contractor work including quality of work, internal customer communications, coordinating with maintenance and project teams. Regular reporting to Maintenance and Engineering Management. Creation and monitoring of contractor performance KPIs. Develop engineering work methods and assessment/approval of contractor submitted documents (RAMS, Training documents, etc). Identify potential hazards at workplace and escalate them in keeping the work environment safe. Provide induction to contractors and engineering visitors. Carry out regular audits on contractor work activities on site. Monitor site safety and contractor safety. Collaborate with site EHS team on contractor safety and PTW improvement activities. Ensure contractors comply with site Engineering, EHS, GMP and CI requirements. Escalate contractor non-compliance to Site Management team and communicate to contractor Management responsible. Support and carry out relevant site-specific PPM activities (Perimeter, Asbestos, Buildings). Academic Background Vocational diploma/HNC in Technical engineering or related discipline (pre-university level). IOSH qualifications preferred Professional Experience Overall relevant work experience of 3 to 5 years in contractor supervision, safety, engineering Technical Skills Strong knowledge of EHS guidelines and relevant HSE Regulations Knowledge of stakeholder communications Fair understanding of engineering concepts Benefits You Will Love Attractive package with benefits, including a profit sharing plan.
