Responsibilities As a Contracts Administrator (Mid-Level), you will support the organization’s contract management activities with a primary focus on award, post-award contract administration, and delivery execution support, and a secondary focus on growth-related and corporate contracts activities. You administer contracts and subcontracts, support compliant contract execution, and partner closely with delivery leadership, program, finance, and operations teams to enable successful contract performance from award through closeout. This role operates within a multi-entity government contracting organization supporting federal and Intelligence Community (IC) customers. The role requires the ability to support multiple operating companies, programs, and stakeholders while helping maintain consistent contract administration practices across the platform. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced government contracting environment. Responsibilities Primary — Award, Delivery, and Post-Award Contract Administration Support contract award review and intake activities, including: Reviewing award documents, modifications, attachments, and customer-specific requirements Identifying key terms, risks, deliverables, reporting requirements, and security or handling considerations where applicable Supporting internal contract kickoff and transition to delivery team Administer contracts through the post-award lifecycle, including modifications, funding actions, deliverable tracking, and closeout support Review, analyze, and interpret contract terms and conditions to support compliant contract execution Support subcontract administration activities, including preparation, issuance, modifications, and closeout Review and analyze vendor agreements, SOWs, and indirect contracts Serve as a day-to-day contracts point of contact for program managers, program controllers, and delivery teams across multiple operating entities, as needed Monitor contract performance requirements and support issue identification and resolution Maintain accurate contract files, documentation, and audit-ready records in accordance with government customer and internal compliance expectation Support responses to customer requests, audits, data calls, and contract reporting requirement Assist with development and continuous improvement of standardized contract and subcontract administration processes and templates across the organization Secondary — Growth / Pre-Award and Corporate Contracts Support Prepare and administer NDAs, teaming agreements, and other partner agreement Provide solicitation and proposal support, primarily focused on: Terms and conditions review Risk identification and escalation Drafting and submission of proposals, focusing on the Contracts Volume Support proposal-to-award transition activities, including validation of contract setup data and documentation Provide general guidance to internal teams on contractual considerations and risk area Stay current on relevant FAR/DFARS updates, agency supplements, and government contracting trends Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, or related field (or equivalent experience) 8-10 years of government contracts and/or subcontracts administration experience Experience supporting contract award review and post-award administration in a GovCon environment Familiarity with common contract types (FFP, T&M, CPFF, IDIQ task orders, GSA schedules) Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and familiarity with agency-specific supplements preferred Experience supporting federal government and/or Intelligence Community customers preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience with capturing, tracking, and visualizing/dashboarding key contract status data (periods, ceilings, funding levels, etc).
