The selected candidate will provide administrative assistance to the building and electrical department. They will support various office tasks to ensure the department operates efficiently and smoothly. This includes managing documentation, coordinating meetings, and assisting with project-related duties. The candidate will play a key role in maintaining organised workflows, managing communications, and contributing to the overall success of the team’s daily operations.

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience in office administration
  • Experience in construction is preferred but not essential
  • Confident and a good eye for detail
  • Good knowledge of excel, outlook and work
  • Able to drive due to location of office

Experience:

  • Administrative: 7 years (preferred
Responsibilities
  • Assist in general office management tasks, including answering phone calls, managing emails, and directing inquiries to the appropriate team members
  • Maintain and update filing systems, both physical and electronically
  • Input data into systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Maintain spreadsheets and companies’ system, ensuring information is up-to-date and organised.
  • Assist with generating regular reports from data collected
  • Help manage calendars, scheduling meetings, appointments.
  • Draft and send internal and external correspondence (emails, letters, etc.).
  • Maintain a professional and friendly demeanour when communicating with clients, customers, and colleagues.
  • Work closely with other departments and team members to support day-to-day administrative needs.
  • Assist with project coordination and follow-up on tasks as required by senior team members.
  • Assist in managing confidential information with discretion and in line with organisational data protection protocols.
  • Provide support with ad-hoc tasks, including photocopying, filing, and document management.
  • Arranging appointments with tenants via telephone or email communication.
