Park Paving Ltd. has been locally-owned and operated for over 50 years and is one of the largest road construction contractors in Edmonton, and we are currently seeking a Contracts Administrator to join our team. Whether you’re a business grad looking to start your career, or someone with a civil engineering background aiming to develop a well-rounded understanding of the business, this is a great opportunity for post-secondary students or recent graduates who are looking to gain entry in the industry! Your day-to-day responsibilities will revolve around supporting senior department staff in areas of document control, job costing, and contract billing. Key responsibilities include: Preparing contract documents for execution/distribution (e.g. cover letters, bonding and insurance certificates, WCB clearance letters, etc.) Monitoring and tracking the status of contract and subcontract documents as part of the execution process. Maintaining the company’s project/contract files by collecting and filing documents required for progress invoicing and subcontractor payment. Preparing purchase orders, progress billing documents, and change order invoices for approval. Requirements: Must have strong proficiency with computers and common productivity software (e.g. Microsoft 365 Suite). Must have an understanding of business administration, accounting fundamentals, or civil engineering technology. Previous contract administration experience is an asset but not required. Must have strong organizational and time management skills to execute a variety of tasks within tight deadlines and billing cycles. Must have a strong attention to detail and numeracy. Position details: Wage: $25 per hour Full-time, Monday through Friday In-person/in-office at main company office located at 1453 – 91 Street SW, Edmonton Seasonal through October 31, 2026 (with the potential for year-round work if available) #PPLMP
