Description
We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our highly skilled commercial team on a fixed-term basis, providing some cover while a team member is on leave. This role will report directly to the Senior Contracts Manager, and will focus mainly on our Through Life Support (TLS) contracts. You will be based onsite and will work closely with our operational teams, as well as our Commercial Team.  Some of your accountabilities will include: * Effective administration of upstream/downstream contracts * Timely management of time-based delay impacts * Timely management of contract notices and cost-based variations * Pro-active risk and opportunity management * Involvement with progress claims, forecasting, financial and project reporting This is a fulltime role on a 12 month fixed term contract, based onsite at our depot in Auburn, NSW. About You: * 3-5 years experience administrating contracts in a construction or maintenance environment or equivalent * Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commerce, Engineering or equivalent discipline highly desired * Sound understanding of tools such as PowerBI advantageous * Negotiation and influencing skills to achieve desired outcomes * Developed analytical and planning/prioritisation skills * Sound working knowledge of commercial management principles, project control applications, risk management and application of process Our Culture: Downer is dedicated to nurturing our people personally and professionally through skills development, competitive benefits, career pathways and fostering a proudly diverse and supportive workplace culture.
