We’re seeking a skilled Contracts Administrator with solid construction industry experience and a proactive, solutions-focused approach. You’ll be confident in preparing and negotiating contracts, managing subcontractor claims and payments, and supporting both construction and design teams to deliver successful project outcomes. This role is ideal for someone who values clear communication, works collaboratively, and thrives in a team-oriented environment. A background in quantity surveying, engineering, or law is essential. THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Tertiary qualifications Construction Management, Engineering, Economics, Quantity Surveying, Law, Commerce or equivalent.

  • Prior experience as a Contracts Administrator or Quantity Surveyor in the construction and engineering industry.
  • Experience in all stages of subcontract management, including scope preparation, procurement, cost forecasting, subcontractor management, claims/variations management, completion and close out.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Current c-class driver’s license.
Responsibilities
  • Preparing, negotiating, and administering subcontracts, variations, and progress claims to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Managing project costs, budgets, and cash flow, including forecasting and tender analysis.
  • Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to support project delivery and resolve issues.
  • Reviewing and processing invoices, payments, and accruals in line with the Security of Payments Act and company procedures.
  • Maintaining contract records, reports, and financial systems (including Viewpoint) to support project performance and compliance
