Headquartered in Lunenburg, NS, and with a site in Mirabel, QC, we operate more than 150,000 sq feet of facilities dedicated to operations, manufacturing and administration.
The Contracts Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the Commercial and Contracts Director in ensuring compliance with export controls, ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations), and other contractual obligations. This individual will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and ensuring contracts meet all regulatory requirements, providing valuable insights to safeguard the company’s interests.

Responsibilities
  • Review contracts to ensure compliance with export controls, ITAR, and other relevant regulations.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with contractual terms, conditions, and obligations.
  • Advise on amendments or modifications required to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of export control regulations and ITAR obligations.
  • Ensure that all contracts involving the export of goods, services, or technology comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to resolve any potential regulatory issues.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the legal rules, obligations, and guidelines related to contract review, particularly in industries subject to export.
  • Ensure that contractual obligations are well understood and clearly articulated across relevant departments.
  • Assist in the drafting, negotiation, and execution of contracts, ensuring compliance with legal, financial, and operational requirements.
  • Provide continuous support to the Commercial and Contracts Director in monitoring contract performance and adherence to key clauses.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including legal, finance, and procurement, to ensure all stakeholders understand and fulfill their contractual obligations.
  • Act as a point of contact for questions or issues related to contract compliance.
  • Regularly report on compliance status and any potential contractual risks.
  • Maintain accurate records of contract reviews, revisions, and approvals.
