FILINVEST COMPANY: SHAREPRO, INC. The Lead Contracts Engineer/Quantity Surveyor handles the process of bidding and awarding of the projects in assigned areas. KEY FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.) SCOUTING OF RELIABLE CONTRACTORS Scout qualified contractors for various housing, MRBs, Open Space & Land Development Projects 2.) BIDDING OF ASSIGNED PROJECTS Issues "Invitation to Bid" to qualified contractors Prepares and reviews Bid Documents to determine complete project's parameter/scope of works Attends pre-bidding conferences Prepares detailed cost estimates in conformance with standard plans and specifications to come out with competitive project cost Evaluates proposals prior to issuance of clarifications to ensure the completeness of contractors' bid Endorse tender evaluation and recommendation for management approval 3.) AWARDING OF ASSIGNED PROJECTS Awards assigned projects within the approved TPRC budget Uploads project milestone in SAP to create PO for project monitoring and billing purposes Uploads project milestone in HCOM for housing projects 4.) EVALUATING CHANGE ORDERS, REPAIR WORKS AND BUDGETARY COST ESTIMATES Evaluates change orders to validate/check the discrepancies between bid and construction plans Evaluates repair works and budgetary cost estimates based on current market price 5.) OTC AND PROJECT MONITORING
