Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contracts Manager to join our dynamic team in Doha, Qatar. As a Contracts Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all aspects of contract administration, ensuring compliance, and optimizing our contractual relationships. Develop, negotiate, and manage complex contracts throughout their lifecycle Ensure full compliance with contract terms, company standards, and relevant laws and regulations Lead contract negotiations and support the development of procurement strategies Oversee contractor and consultant performance against established KPIs and incentive mechanisms Review and process compensation events, payment applications, and cost forecasts Manage claims and participate in dispute resolution processes when necessary Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align contract terms with project objectives Implement and maintain contract management systems and processes Provide expert advice and guidance on contractual matters to senior management and project teams Identify and mitigate contractual risks to protect the company's interests Qualifications Postgraduate qualification in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field Minimum of 8 years of extensive experience in contract management, preferably in the construction or infrastructure industry Proven experience working with NEC contracts and other international contract forms Strong track record in managing contracts for large-scale infrastructure projects Demonstrated capability in performance monitoring, claims management, and commercial reporting In-depth knowledge of local and international contract law Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office suite Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to resolve complex contractual issues Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex contractual terms clearly Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being capable of independent decision-making Experience working in the Middle East region is highly desirable Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
