Description

AW Construction are a Folkestone based construction company, undertaking a broad range of commercial construction projects across the Southeast of England and London. Our works are predominantly strip out, refurbishment and fit out in nature. Our clients range from universities, shopping centres, light industrial to housing associations and many others
The successful candidate will be based at our offices in Folkestone, and will be required to make frequent site visits
Applicants must have significant experience of working as a project manager or contracts manager in the commercial construction sector

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure projects are delivered safely; on time; on budget, to a high standard from inception to handover.
  • Oversee the co-ordination of operatives, sub-contractors and suppliers in a planned and controlled manner ensuring efficiency and minimising costs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality and adherence to project timelines, adjusting plans as necessary to meet objectives.
  • Prepare reports on project status, including risks, challenges, and solutions for stakeholders.

  • Proven experience in this role

  • Excellent team leader skills and a professional nature
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good level of Maths, English and IT
