As a Contracts Manager at Moderna’s Enterprise Solutions Hub in Warsaw, you will be instrumental in managing the full lifecycle of commercial agreements and enhancing contracting processes. This position offers a unique opportunity to drive significant advancements in Moderna’s global contracting capabilities, directly impacting our rapidly expanding markets.
Here’s What You’ll Do:Your key responsibilities will be:
Managing daily incoming contract requests and ensuring efficient contract lifecycle management from initiation through execution.
Building and maintaining robust processes for contract development, approval, and compliance.
Working closely with Procurement Category Management to integrate procurement strategies into contracts effectively.

Responsibilities:

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL ALSO INCLUDE:

Developing and implementing best practices for contract management using innovative tools like a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system.
Creating and delivering training on contracting processes to ensure compliance and efficiency across the organization.
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to optimize contract terms and manage complex negotiations.

Pursue options in parallel: Your ability to manage multiple contracting processes simultaneously will be crucial in making informed decisions that benefit Moderna.
Question convention: Challenging the status quo and introducing innovative solutions to improve contracting efficiency and effectiveness.
Here’s What You’ll Need (Minimum Qualifications)
Minimum 6 years of experience negotiating, drafting, and finalizing a variety of commercial contracts
Bachelor’s degree required; demonstrated experience may be substituted for the educational requirements
Excellent English skills, both written and verbal
Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)
Paralegal degree or certification preferred
Knowledge of legal and commercial terms and concepts and familiarity with basic business contracts.
Knowledge of Formal and informal competitive bidding principles and processes and legal requirements.
Developing and/or managing contracts, including tracking documents through the contracting lifecycle, contract compliance items, and keeping organized records.
Able to work independently and as part of a high functioning team in a fast-paced environment.
Sound reasoning skills, excellent problem-solving skills, and ethical judgment within broadly defined practices and policies.
Organizational skills and high level of attention to detail.
Experience working at a life sciences or medical company preferred but not required.
Familiarity with CLM’s, Agiloft, MS Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Working independently with general guidance from supervisor.
Making decisions and exercising good judgment; demonstrating political astuteness.
Maintaining poise while dealing with people in difficult situations; exercising tact and diplomacy; always interacting in a professional and courteous manner.
Maintaining confidentiality of all matters.
