ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Site Manager managing multiple sites
  • Strong background in construction build and refurbishment
  • Projects experience across commercial, hospitality, or student accommodation sectors
  • Joinery trade background (must-have)
  • Ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Full UK driving licence
Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As Contracts Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of live construction projects across central Scotland, with a focus on the heart of Edinburgh. You’ll be responsible for managing Site Managers, supervising site teams, driving programme performance, and ensuring client satisfaction at every stage.
You will work closely with the commercial team, directors, and clients, and take responsibility for overall project success — in terms of quality, budget, safety, and delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage multiple projects from pre-start to final handover
  • Lead, support, and mentor Site Managers and site-based teams
  • Monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure programmes are met
  • Attend regular client/site meetings and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Coordinate with QS/Commercial and Design Teams
  • Drive high standards of quality, safety, and compliance on site
  • Ensure contract terms are adhered to and client KPIs are delivered
