SailPoint is currently searching for a German speaking talented, self-motivated individual who wants to be a vital part in building a world-class, identity security SaaS company in the region of EMEA. As a Contracts Manager, you will help drive our sales contracting, deal processes, and legal systems. As you gain experience, you will take a direct role in negotiating and closing deals with sophisticated, enterprise customers. The right candidate for the job is an experienced dealmaker, a natural communicator & collaborator, organized, intellectually curious, and driven to see things through to completion in a timely and accurate manner.
Roles and responsibilities:
Minimum Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a strong training plan in place with the following milestone expectations for their training and development:
Within the first month:
You will build a relationship with your assigned, regional sales clients, be trained in internal SailPoint processes, and familiarize yourself with our contract management tools. You will form a collaborative relationship with your manager, fellow contracts managers and contracts operations analysts.
Within 4-7 weeks:
You will have become proficient in utilizing Salesforce and our other contract lifecycle management tools in daily tasks and in coordinating with the various stakeholders involved with your workflow, including leadership, commercial legal and deal desk. You will have demonstrated responsiveness and accountability to the regional sales leaders you support.
Within 3 months:
You will have gathered a sufficient understanding of the internal operations of the contracts department and your role to accomplish most of your tasks independently. You will have demonstrated increased accountability on seeing your assigned work to completion.
Within 1 year:
You will have demonstrated a high-level understanding of contract operations, including the ability to follow the playbook and escalation processes. You will be familiar with the subject matter experts involved in your negotiations and understand where to find the information required to see your contracts to completion. You will have demonstrated accountability, reliability, and progress towards becoming a resource of knowledge within the contracts team.
