SUMMARY

As a Contract Manager at Bethlem Royal Hospital, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing contracts and ensuring compliance within our extensive network of South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in writing and on going monitoring of NHS Contracts
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology and contract law
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in contract management software and tools
    Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
    Contract length: 3 months
    Pay: £26.53 per hour
    Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • NHS Contracts: 3 years (preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Beckenham BR3 3B

Responsibilities
  • The post holder will establish strong liaison with services to develop, monitor contracts through regular quarterly reviews to ensure quality, efficiency and productivity..· Working with Internal and External Partners to ensure that contract KPI’s / performance management framework are aligned to national strategies, regulatory requirements and local Trust requirements; responsible for suggesting improvements to the framework.
  • Provides advice on mitigating and managing risk within contracts entered into by the Trust, minimising the Trust’s exposure to financial, clinical, reputational, performance and business risk
  • Responsible for making best use of existing/new systems and processes to ensure contract compliance; to identify any material variance and discuss with Directorates and infrastructure departments regarding corrective actions to be taken.
  • To promote and enable the embedding of a culture of contract performance across the Trust, which is service / locality owned and led, focused on the delivery of the Trust’s strategy, has a robust accountability framework and well-defined escalation processes in the event of under-performance and/or non-delivery.
