We're seeking a Contracts & Procurement Specialist to join our Delivery Phase Services (DPS) team in the Brisbane office. Applications are open to those who are currently living in Brisbane. The position is project-based for a minimum of 12 months, with flexible engagement options available, and offers flexible engagement - either through an agency or as a fixed-term contract. The role plays a key part in providing consistent, high-quality contracts and procurement support to DPS project teams and clients, contributing to strong commercial outcomes and alignment with project objectives across delivery lifecycle.   You'll be working within a supportive, collaborative environment and be involved with a broad range of commercial activities, including: * Providing commercial and contracts support across all phases of the project from early studies through to completion and handover * Developing contracts and procurement (C&P) documents such as the C&P Strategy, C&P Plan and Package Plans, in consultation with project and technical teams * Supporting market sounding, expressions of interest, prequalification and tender processes, including preparation, issue, evaluation and recommendation activities * Administering contracts on behalf of GHD’s clients (including contractor, OEM, consultancy), such as: * Preparing and maintaining contract documentation in line with client and/or GHD procedures * Monitor contractual compliance requirements including insurances and securities * Assessing contract variations, changes and claims and advising the client  * Assisting with contract changes and updates * Supporting the payment claim administration and review * Drafting and reviewing commercial correspondence to align with contractual requirements and project objectives * Maintaining accurate, well organised records within contract management systems * Identifying potential contractual risks and supporting the development of practical mitigation strategies * Providing guidance on contract requirements and compliance * Working closely with others in the DPS team and across the wider GHD group * Supporting project teams in delivering on our contractual commitments to clients   What you will bring to the team: * Experience as a contracts administrator / specialist in energy, mining, construction, or related sectors – or equivalent relevant experience * Between 6 and 12 years of total relevant experience, with exposure in a consulting or contracting environment * Balanced experience between both pre-award and post-award experience * Ability to manage multiple tasks and organise work effectively * Comfortable working across different client systems and adaptable to new ways of working * A solutions-focused mindset, open to new approaches * Excellent clear communication skills * A team player who enjoys contributing to shared goals.
