Contracts Specialist provides general contract management support to Business Development (Sales) and Customer Success Management (CSM) teams

Responsibilities:

• Generate contractual agreements for existing TELUS Health customers using the appropriate templates, as well as creating customized contract agreements and letters as required.
• Primary focus will be supporting the TELUS Health Employer Solutions business.
• Support the sales and client facing teams (e.g., CSMs) with new service add-ons, existing customer renewal contracts and amendments, and answering general contract questions.
• Review of contract terms and conditions for interpretation of contract language.
• Provide support for approved commercial item contract negotiations.
• Work in a consultative manner with legal counsel.
• Update and maintain department tools and contracting processes.
• Follows guidelines for accurate representation of contracted services (USA, Canada, UK, Australia, Singapore, and other jurisdictions).
• Respond to inquiries or questions regarding contract management.
• Executes, stores, and retrieves customer contracts.
• Participate in meetings and special projects with other departments, as required.
• Additional contract management tasks, as required.

Education/Skills/Experience Required:

• Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, contract management, or legal concentration.
• Requires excellent problem-solving skills and a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with accuracy and proficiency.
• Requires ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to effectively prioritize and manage a high volume of requests.
• Strong computer skills in all Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
• Salesforce knowledge preferred.
• DocuSign knowledge preferred.
• Familiarity with the Google suite of products

Working Environment:

• General office environment/remote location.
• Work from home position. Depending on location, may be required to attend in person quarterly team meetings
