ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Experience of working in a contract management role in a similar or related environment or field
  • Experience of delivering effective working relationships with diverse customer and partner groups
  • Demonstrable experience of managing an in-house team of operatives, providing direction and guidance
  • A good level of financial awareness and budget management including budget setting, financial accounting and control
  • Willing and able to participate in the out of hours rota
  • Knowledge of British Standards, Codes of Practice, Health & safety and any other specialist trade and professional codes of practice relevant to Estate Services activities
  • Ability to travel to meet the requirements of the role

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

The purpose of the Contracts and Standards Manager role is to oversee the local contract management of the suite of Estates Services disciplines provided by internal and external contractors, and to ensure an efficient and cost-effective service is delivered to our customers in a designated area, guaranteeing that the estates, customers and staff are kept safe at all times, whilst maintaining the highest standards of quality in estate management services.
This role is part of Property where you’ll help us to lead the way investing and maintaining 46,000 homes.
