Job Description Vattenfall’s Operational Control Centre is a central part of our Business Unit Wind, Offshore, Generation. We monitor more than 1,500 wind turbines and provide support to all Vattenfall sites Onshore and Offshore within turbine monitoring, high-voltage control, and marine coordination – 24/7, all year round. Our goal is to ensure high availability and safe operations, enabling us to accelerate the transition to a fossil-free society together. Your Tasks As a Control Centre Operator, you will be a key person in the operation of our wind assets. You will be responsible for: Monitoring and optimizing wind turbines and transformer stations in real time Responding quickly to alarms and unforeseen errors to minimize downtime Planning and performing switching operations under Wind Electrical Safety Rules (WESR) Handling permits and ensuring proper return to normal operation after maintenance or incidents Ensuring open communication with internal teams and external authorities – both in daily operations and during critical incidents Preparing precise operational reports and contributing to the coordination of grid balance Identifying and sharing opportunities for process improvements across the organization Qualifications We are looking for someone who: Has a technical education as an electrician, wind turbine technician, or similar Has experience with electrical systems or wind turbine operations – experience from a control room is an advantage Thrives with shift work and being able to keep your head cool under pressure Has good IT skills and can navigate digital systems confidently Speaks and writes fluent Danish and English Has a strong safety focus and works systematically and collaboratively Can make independent decisions and communicate clearly with colleagues and partners Additional Information Workplace: Esbjerg, Denmark. You must live within daily transport distance. All high-voltage tasks must be performed in accordance with applicable legislation. Security clearance from the Danish Energy Agency is required for this position.
