What does the job look like?

In this role you will perform essential safety, compliance, emergency response and freight planning tasks for our Resources & Industrial West transport operation. We require coverage for afternoon shift (2pm – 10pm) and weekend work is required. Key areas:

  • Participate and commit to Safety Standards and Chain of Responsibility requirements at all times
  • Freight planning, including coordination, planning and execution of urgent freight orders
  • Monitor and report on driver fatigue and welfare using fleet monitoring systems
  • Driver incident and breakdown coordination and response
  • Completion of accurate data entry, reports and record-keeping in a variety of systems including SAP TM, Excel and SharePoint
  • Assist with ad-hoc transport administration duties as required

  • Intermediate computer skills, SAP TM desirable
