Job description
MCM Technology will shortly be looking for an action-oriented individual for a full time position as Control Room Operator (Nights) for our alarm monitoring, CCTV monitoring and Vehicle Tracking within our Alarm Receiving Centre. The individual will work with other control room operatives to escalate and manage responses to all events impacting or threatening MCM’s client’s, property and assets. The Control Room Operatives will help identify, assess and coordinate communication and respond to security related incidents and crisis.
The Control Room Operative will work with the MCM’s manager to adhere to procedures and Service Level Agreements. Responsibilities will include managing email and phone communications, responding to alarms and system issues. The successful candidate must have a proven track record in customer service, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrate good judgment while under pressure. They will also be able to successfully multitask, operate autonomously. The MCM ARC is a 24/7 operation and shift work will be required this includes nights and weekends.
Security experience, while desirable, is not necessary as full training will be given including free training for obtaining a Private Security Authority License for operating in an Alarm Receiving Centre.
