We are currently seeking a Control Room Operator to join our fast-paced team and play a key role in coordinating vehicle recoveries and breakdown responses.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience in a control room, dispatch, logistics, or customer service role (preferred).
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under pressure.
• Comfortable using IT systems, dispatch software, and GPS tracking tools.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Knowledge of the vehicle recovery or breakdown industry is advantageous but not essential — full training provided.

• Handle incoming calls from customers, roadside technicians, and third parties.
• Assess breakdown situations and dispatch recovery vehicles accordingly.
• Monitor ongoing jobs and communicate updates with relevant parties.
• Use GPS tracking and dispatch systems to manage resources efficiently.
• Maintain accurate logs of all calls and activities in line with company procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service in stressful or time-sensitive situations.
• Liaise with police, highways agencies, and other emergency services when needed.
