Responsibilities

As a Control Software Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading New Advanced Algorithms development and New Technology introduction in the market, participating as a presenter or reviewer during program execution phase
  • Developing Control System Software according to technical specifications, in order to guarantee the overall control systems quality and performances
  • Analyzing systematic and timely plant site requests support and attending technical meetings with Customers, Project Team, Suppliers and Universities
  • Creating and enhancing Control Software solutions, fostering Systems Continuous Improvement process and implementing Lesson Learnt
  • Building new advanced controls for engine and process application, leveraging modeling and simulation tools aimed to predict and validate the digital-twin syste

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Master Degree in Automation, Energy, Electrical, Electronic, Robotics, Telecommunication Engineering or Computer Science
  • Have proven working experience in an engineering position for Control Algorithms and Software design
  • Have and holistic design mindset for system solutions including hardware, networking, software and plant operation
  • Deep knowledge of advanced algorithms, including familiarity with big data and machine learning concepts
  • Be proficient in industrial PLC programming languages, C#, MATLAB, Simulink environment
  • Display knowledge of main industrial network communication protocols and standards
  • Demonstrate effective communication, interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence others in a multicultural environment
  • Be able and willing to travel worldwide for customer meetings and/or site/test bed support
  • Be a good team player and display good communication skills with fluency in Englis
