The Control System Engineer is primarily responsible for the integration, maintenance, and support of control systems and data. Key responsibilities include connecting new systems to the SCADA Server to ensure data accuracy and implementing and supervising Preventive Maintenance (PM) for critical assets like DCS/PLCs. Furthermore, you will provide technical troubleshooting support for control systems and collaborate with the data analysis team to optimize the data structure within the data historian for efficient feature engineering. How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? 1. Data Integration & Accuracy - Connect new systems to our network using various communication protocols, ensuring the connection methods meet reliability standards before bringing data into the SCADA Server. - Develop and lead the integrated planning for acquiring new critical data, spanning from sensor selection and installation across all facilities to final integration into the SCADA Server - Update technical documents and ensure changes are accurately reflected in the official plant drawings and records. 2. Control System Technical Support - Participate in plant level reliability projects of existing equipment or new equipment installations including Factory Acceptance Testing, Site Acceptance Testing, project startup and troubleshooting activities. - Develop, scope and implement control system modifications according to established Management of Change policy and in compliance with corporate and industry guidelines. - Provide technical and troubleshooting support to operations for process events as it relates to control systems. 3. Maintenance Support - Implement and supervise preventive routine maintenance of control systems and interfaces, including hardware and software. - Participate in incident investigations to evaluate root cause of control system related events, as well as technical and safety reviews. - Execute and document scheduled PM work orders for critical assets (e.g., DCS, PLC, and other OT devices) using the MAXIMO. 4. Data Analysis Collaboration - Use expert knowledge of control systems and instruments to supply the Data Analysis Engineer with clean and accurate data. - Lead the structuring and optimization(one SCADA) of data points within the data historian (e.g., PI System) to ensure efficient data retrieval, cleanup, and feature engineering for the Data Analysis Engineer." Are you a MATCH? 1. Education : Diploma and above in Electrical, Automation, Mechanical, or related field. 2. 3+ years experience in DCS, PLC related position is preferred. 3. Equipped with developing/maintaining skills in: (at least 2) DCS: Yokokawa or SCADA PLC: Siemens 300 or latest series, AB PLC HMI: In Touch, iFIX, etc. 4.
