Partner with the best This is a client facing position for Subsea Controls System Lead. You’ll be working directly with the customer's teams in the same project base. The role will require a proactiveness across all functions within the business as you’ll need to work and manage scopes across geographical diverse teams. As a Control System Lead, you will be responsible for: Developing and executing scopes in line with customer and project requirements and priorities Defining Cost Time Resource (CTR) requirements for engineering planning and forecasting purposes Driving engineering and team activities to ensure “on time” delivery to the customer Increasing the region level of ownership and accountability over APACI project execution, generate more autonomy and regional capacity and capabilities. Collaborating during design reviews, work with the Controlled Titles at all stages during project execution, input into the project risk matrix and drive mitigation activities. Ensuring deliverables meet Customer technical specifications, regional Technical Regulations and Standards for Australia. Dispositioning, reviewing and approving product clarifications, procedures and technical reports. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Mandatory to be based in Perth to interface to the Key Senior Customer Controls Technical Authority person and rest of the EPC project management team. Have strong customer relationship management/development, ideally also with wider systems knowledge to work within the EPC systems team to interface with Customer/Operator and Consortium Partner across the full EPCI. Have a Degree in Instrumentation and Control Systems Engineering, or Industrial Computer Systems Engineering or related discipline or an equivalent combination of qualifications and relevant experience. Have at +10 years of engineering experience within the subsea industry or related service organisation. At 5+ years of engineering experiences in Subsea Controls System and Products design and operation. Have strong domain knowledge and expertise in the operational requirements associated with DCS, MCS, PCDMs, SCMs, SEMs, HPUs, XTs, distribution & umbilical’s, instrumentations, topside and subsea hardware/software and communication protocols. Have domain expertise in controls system test and commissioning activities from product FA through to Controls EFAT and offshore commissioning.
