POSITION OVERVIEW:

Guardian Manufacturing is seeking a versatile and driven Control System Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to take on challenges across multiple industries. You’ll work alongside talented engineers and technicians to deliver automation solutions that exceed our customers’ expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in PLC programming (ladder logic, function block, structured text). Additional languages, such as C++, Python, Visual Basic are a plus.
  • Experience with HMI/SCADA programming and control system components.
  • Strong knowledge of integrated control system components, including power supplies, transformers, motor centers/VFDs/soft starters, contactors/relays, and servo/stepper motors.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement control system hardware and software for various control processes.
  • Select and size components like pumps, motors, valves, sensors and other related electrical systems components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality project delivery.
  • Test and commission control systems to ensure reliability.
  • Create and maintain control system documentation.
  • Interface with customers to meet their expectations.
  • Identify and address operational issues, contributing to continuous improvements.
