THE OPPORTUNITY

Mipac has recently opened an office in Tucson Arizona, and we are looking for a Control Systems Engineer to join the team. At Mipac as a Control Systems Engineer, you will get exposure to larger scale projects, have opportunities to travel to international locations (anywhere from Africa, Peru, and/or Canada), and a chance to enhance your technical capability through exposure to multiple control systems and diverse projects.

Responsibilities
  • Control System Design: Design, develop, and implement control systems solutions for mining, mineral processing, and other projects, ensuring they meet engineering standards and client requirements.
  • Technical Proficiency: Use broad knowledge and skills to resolve complex engineering problems.
  • Technical Leadership: Take ownership of control system aspects within projects. Where required, develop, review, and approve project deliverables.
  • Documentation: Independently produce technical documentation including reports, specifications, procedures, and manuals to a high standard.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication, project alignment, and successful outcomes.
  • Site and Commissioning Support: Participate in unaccompanied site visits and commissioning activities to ensure control systems operate as intended in real-world environments.
