REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree qualified in a STEM subject
  • At least 3 year’s experience in an engineering environment
  • Electrical / Power engineering experience would be ideal!
  • Good working knowledge of programming languages such as Javascript, Golang, Labview, c++ or Python, with TCP/IP networking or front-end web development would be an advantage
  • You are a self-motivated individual with a sense of responsibility, and happy accepting your part in working towards a larger goal
  • Have permanent right to work in the UK
  • Training will be provided for specific SCADA development environment
  • Must be able to commute to Cheltenham, as this role is fully office-based.
  • Eligible to work permanently in the UK
Responsibilities
  • Plan, design and implement control and integration systems, with the support of senior team members
  • Design, develop, and deploy controls code for large and small electrical infrastructure
  • Collaborating, from design through to operations of large engineering projects, as part of a team responsible for SCADA architecture, coding and commissioning to deliver projects on time and in budget
  • Work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure project success
