Work across multiple subsystems including transmission, hydraulics, cooling systems, engine, aerodynamics, and vehicle dynamics. Develop, test, and deploy software for control systems in real-time applications, ensuring high-performance standards and robustness in the F1 environment. Post event data analysis of powertrain systems performance and reliability investigation whilst optimising systems to ensure validity of test and performance on track. Support creating accurate models of dynamic systems for simulation, analysis, and control strategies utilizing advanced modelling techniques and tools to validate and optimize control algorithms. Work closely with the vehicle dynamics, powertrain, and electronics teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems with other components and subsystems of the car. Offer troubleshooting and support for on-track performance and testing, quickly diagnosing issues and ensuring swift solutions to meet high performance demands. Our ideal candidate is someone who is: Degree level qualified in Electrical, Automotive, Aerospace, Mechanical, Software or other related engineering discipline. Experienced in control systems design, development, and implementation for real-time applications and operating systems. Experienced in systems modelling such as MATLAB/Simulink or similar tools. Proficient in software development for embedded systems such as C, C++, or Python. Familiar with test facility architecture, including the design and integration of rigs and testing setups.
