REQUIREMENTS

Successful candidates should have a degree in Computer Science. Candidates with any level of experience are encouraged to apply, including newly graduated Computer Scientist to an experienced software professional with 5+ years of experience. Candidates should be proficient in C++ or a similar language and should have a good working knowledge of SQL. Knowledge of Embarcadero C++Builder and Microsoft SQL Server would also be an asset.
An appreciation and interest for mechanical systems, positive attitude, thirst for knowledge and client-based values would make the best fit with the LV team.

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering team, successful candidates will participate in the full software development lifecycle as well as be involved in specific client projects from planning to commissioning. Each of our software team members contribute to the design, development, maintenance, and testing of our process control and automation software. Specific tasks include:

  • Work with customers to develop project requirements and enhancements to our software platforms.
  • Work in cross functional teams (Electrical Engineering/Design, Automation Support, Production and Assembly) to deliver world class client solutions.
  • Design, implement, and test new functionality within existing software platforms using industry best practices.
  • Work with our technical support team to provide customer support, troubleshooting and debugging of our software platforms.
