DRIVE FINANCIAL EXCELLENCE IN A GROWING CONSTRUCTION COMPANY.

We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead full-cycle accounting, oversee financial reporting, and provide strategic analysis for a dynamic construction firm based in Laval. This role offers direct collaboration with ownership and the leadership team, ensuring accurate financial information to support operational and strategic decisions.

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
• Manage month-end and year-end closings, producing timely and accurate financial statements
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
• Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements (GST/QST, corporate tax, CNESST, etc.)
• Track and analyze job costing, project profitability, and contract performance
• Collaborate with project managers to monitor budgets, costs, and timelines
• Liaise with external auditors, bankers, and stakeholders
• Implement and improve financial controls, processes, and systems
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team
