COMPÉTENCES ET EXPERIENCE REQUISES
· Diplôme universitaire et titre comptable canadien (CPA) requis ;
· Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience dans des postes de gestion financière avec responsabilités croissantes ;
· Expérience en tarification/coût de revient en milieu manufacturier requise ;
· Expérience en implantation d’un ERP ou d’un système similaire (atout) ;
· Excellente capacité d’organisation et de mobilisation d’équipe pour livrer des projets avec succès;
· Capacité à produire un travail de grande qualité avec un minimum de supervision ;
· Maîtrise des outils technologiques, notamment MS Excel, SAP, et FIDELIO (atout) ;
· Capacité à respecter les échéanciers et à gérer plusieurs dossiers simultanément ;
· Excellentes compétences en gestion du temps, priorisation et organisation ;
· Attitude positive, grande attention aux détails, motivation personnelle et esprit d’équipe ;
· Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais, à l’oral comme à l’écrit.

MTY is currently seeking a dedicated and resourceful Accounting Controller for one of its divisions in Laval, Quebec to oversee and optimize the profitability of the division. This division is a distribution and a HACCP manufacturing plant serving primarily the brand Casa Grecque and a variety of other brands in MTY’s network. The Controller would be the liaison between the warehouse & manufacturing operations and the accounting.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
· University degree and Canadian accounting designation (CPA) is required
· 3+ years of progression through financial managerial positions with increasing responsibility
· Experience in pricing/costing in manufacturing and related systems is required
· Experience in of the implementation of an ERP or similar system considered an asset
· Highly organized and effective in engaging others to achieve successful project delivery results.
· Ability to deliver high quality output under limited supervision.
· Proficient in technology, such as MS Excel and SAP, FIDELIO an asset
· Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and multi-task effectively
· Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills
· Demonstrates a positive work ethic, is self-motivated, has a strong attention to detail and is a team player
· French / English written or oral skills required.
QUALIFICATIONS
· University degree or equivalent education and experience with CPA designation an asset
· Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and French
· Experience in the retail and/or food services industries
Working Environment and Hours:
· Working a standard work week (Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm) with additional hours required on an occasional basis.
· In office presence at our Laval plant is required

· Management of the Company’s financials division, including overseeing inventory and costing for distribution and manufactured goods;
· Provide timely and insightful financial operational support to the EVP of Purchasing, Retail & Manufacturing as well as the Director of Operations and Purchasing for the division;
· Lead the operations teams in monthly inventory count, as well as accounting for count reconciliations in the subledger;
· Month-end close reconciliation and review, including product and overall P&L margin profit analysis;
· Prepare internal financial reports to support the reporting requirements for various company stakeholders;
· Manage a plant accountant (currently in position) & potentially an inventory supervisor (TBD);
· Assist with yearly budgeting process;
· Review and management of accounts payable and accounts receivable including collections;
· Cash flow review and management;
· Implementing and ensuring adequate internal controls over the division and collaborating with internal audit as needed;
· Participate actively to new production projects with MTY’s different brands and outside customers to increase revenues and efficiency;
