Here are other key strengths and qualifications we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • 3 to 5 years of accounting experience.
  • Mastery of the complete accounting cycle.
  • Good command of English (written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in software: Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, NetSuite (definitely an asset !).
  • Independence, resourcefulness, and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong focus, teamwork abilities, and professional judgment.
  • High accuracy and precision in handling and maintaining the confidentiality of data and records.
  • Good time management and prioritization skills.
Responsibilities
  • Preparing, reviewing, and providing monthly financial statements.
  • Executing month-end procedures.
  • Analyzing variances between actual results and budget.
  • Coordinating and preparing the annual audit file.
  • Participating in the full accounting cycle.
  • Producing tax and government declarations.
  • Participating in the ERP system implementation.
  • Participating in inventory counting
