Controller Location: Sioux Falls, SD Employment Type: Full‑Time Overview We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead all accounting and financial operations for a growing, project‑based organization. This role is responsible for financial reporting, job costing, inventory accounting, cash flow management, and providing financial insight to leadership. The Controller will serve as a trusted advisor to ownership and play a key role in long‑term strategic growth, with a clear path to CFO. Key Responsibilities Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close and financial reporting Prepare and analyze financial statements, cash flow, and job‑level profitability Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models Oversee job costing, revenue recognition, and cost matching Lead inventory accounting, reconciliations, and controls Oversee AP/AR, cash flow forecasting, and working capital Ensure GAAP compliance, internal controls, audits, and tax support Identify process improvements and system enhancements Partner with ownership, operations, and sales leadership Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Controller or Accounting Manager Strong financial reporting, month‑end close, and reconciliation skills Solid understanding of cost accounting and job‑based environments Experience supporting leadership with financial insights Why Join Us High‑impact leadership role Direct access to ownership Supportive, family‑oriented culture Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.
