Position Overview The Regional Controller leads the strategic direction and execution of the organization’s multiple financial functions. This includes overseeing financial planning, reporting, and compliance while managing a high-performing finance and accounting team. The Regional Controller collaborates with senior leadership to ensure alignment of financial goals with overall business objectives. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership Build and manage an “A”-caliber Finance and Accounting organization. Oversee controllers, accounting, finance, and FP&A personnel. Develop and maintain clear succession plans and IDPs (Individual Development Plans) for team members. Foster a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement. Financial Reporting & Compliance Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements). Maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws. Oversee coordination with external auditors and regulatory agencies. Risk Management Identify and evaluate financial risks (market, credit, operational). Develop risk mitigation strategies and implement internal controls. Provide guidance on insurance coverage to protect company assets. Treasury & Cash Management Oversee cash flow, liquidity, and working capital management. Optimize banking relationships and financing arrangements. Implement cash management strategies to reduce costs and enhance efficiency. Strategic Financial Leadership Advise the President and executive team on financial strategy and business growth opportunities. Align financial initiatives with organizational goals and KPIs. Drive financial performance through strategic planning and analysis. Financial Planning & Analysis Develop forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial models. Evaluate investment opportunities and cost-saving measures. Provide insights on capital allocation and resource optimization. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred). Proven leadership experience as a Regional Controller or similar senior finance role. Expertise in financial principles, regulations, and best practices. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and motivate teams. Proficiency in the use of MS Office (strong excel skills), ERP systems and financial software (eg. Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, Service Titan and Coins). Proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus Travel This position is hybrid and requires a minimum of 25% travel
