QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (CPA designation preferred).
  • 5+ years in accounting/finance roles, with prior Controller or senior finance experience.
  • Experience mentoring administrative staff and managing office operations.
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP.
  • Strong knowledge of financial compliance, audits, budgeting, and internal controls.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills.

We’re looking for a dynamic Controller/ Bookkeeper to be the financial and administrative anchor of our business operations. This is more than just number-crunching, this role is about building a high-functioning admin team, driving accountability, and helping lead Kamloops Truss through our next stage of growth.
You’ll oversee both finance and office operations, supporting leadership with insight-driven reporting while ensuring the front-end administrative engine is running smoothly.
