JOB SUMMARY AND QUALIFICATIONS

As the Controller in our accounting department, you will be directing and coordinating the financial activities of the Hospital. This role has an impact on our patients’ lives and you have the opportunity to make a difference. Our team works hard to support each other.   • You will direct financial activities of the Hospital.
  • You will supervise preparation of Hospital general ledger and subsidiary ledgers, payroll, and inventory accounting.
  • You will coordinate the Hospital’s formal budget program and the preparation of cost report work papers.
  • You will coordinate the reimbursement activities necessary for governmental payor programs.
  • You will provide necessary management to ensure that accurate and adequate medical records are maintained current and readily available for all patients and physicians.
  • You will assist the Chief Financial Officer in directing and coordinating the financial activities of the Hospital including accounting, reporting, budgeting and internal control functions.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL NEED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent. Master’s or CPA desirable.
  • 2 or more years’ related experience required
    Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) is a full-service hospital with 318+ patient beds. Our hospital is the largest medical facility in the region. We serve southeast Idaho, western Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park, and parts of Montana. Our facility has an ER, a Level II Trauma Center, a Level 1 ICU (one of two in Idaho), and the only Burn Center in the state of Idaho.
