POSITION SUMMARY:

We’re looking for a Controller to take ownership of our financial operations and become a key part of our leadership team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, thrives in a fast-moving environment, and wants to help shape the future of a growing company. You’ll be responsible for everything from daily accounting oversight to financial strategy, reporting, and helping us make smart, informed business decisions.
This isn’t a back-office number crunching job—it’s about understanding the business, improving systems, and helping push ED’S Concrete forward.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• CPA designation required.
• 5–10 years of experience in accounting/finance roles, ideally in manufacturing, construction, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Proven ability to manage accounting operations and support strategic decision-making.
• Familiarity with Sage, QuickBooks, or equivalent ERP systems.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
