Location: Miami, FL (On-site only) COMPANY Diesel Pro Power is a fast-growing global supplier of marine and industrial engine parts, serving customers in over 180 countries. We operate a disciplined, execution-driven business. Leadership relies on clean, accurate numbers. ROLE We are hiring a hands-on Controller to own the books end-to-end. This is a solo role with full accountability for accuracy, close, and reporting. There is no internal accounting team. If something is wrong, you own fixing it. This is not a CFO, strategy, or people-management role. RESPONSIBILITIES * Own monthly close end-to-end (reconciliations, schedules, reporting) * Maintain GAAP-compliant records in QuickBooks Online * Deliver reliable financial statements by a fixed monthly deadline * Provide margin, cost, and profitability visibility * Build and enforce core accounting processes (AP, AR, payroll, compliance) * Manage outsourced bookkeeping and external CPA partners * Resolve discrepancies decisively * Support dashboards and selective automation after core accuracy is established REQUIREMENTS * 7+ years accounting experience * 3+ years owning monthly close and reporting * Strong QuickBooks Online experience * Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills * Proven ability to meet close deadlines independently * High standards for accuracy and follow-through * Miami-based, full-time on-site STRONG ADVANTAGE * Inventory / product-based business experience * ERP exposure * Spanish / English bilingual THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU: * Take full ownership of the numbers * Prefer execution over discussion * Are comfortable being the final line of responsibility THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF YOU: * Need a team to do the work * Want hybrid or remote flexibility * Are seeking a path to a CFO title COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Competitive salary, performance bonus, 100% employer-paid medical, dental, vision, PTO, holidays.
