JOB DESCRIPTION

• Establishes and manages effective control of all assets throughout the organization.
• Manages the office and all computer systems. (Software, Hardware, Website, Inventory, Purchasing and Scheduling Report, Condition, and appearance, etc.)
• Responsible for providing timely and accurate financial control and reporting.
• Preparation of financial forecasts, analyze information and provide written recommendations for improvement.
• Manages working relationships and pricing with Bankers, Accountants, and WCB etc.
• Manages insurance policies for all entities and ensures necessary coverage is current and market priced.
• Responsible for security of assets (including inventory, & receivables quality) and collection of receivables.
• Responsible for controlling inventory levels and recommended purchasing information.
• Responsible for ensuring adequate cash flow and compilation of payroll. Maintains human resources records and reminders.
• Ensures all company filing and government returns are completed in an accurate and timely manner. (Including maintaining up to date SR&ED information to permit prompt filing at year end.)
• Responsible for identifying cost-saving opportunities in all areas of the group.
• Concur in pricing requests from sales personnel and if not within guidelines, refer to the CEO.
• Provides the CEO with information to measure performance of sales and production management.
• Provides monthly information to allow sales account managers and the CEO to monitor customer and product profitability.
• As a member of the senior management team is expected to provide general management support and identify / suggest improvements to company operations.
