Description

Georg Fischer Building Flow Solutions division is looking for a Controller, Global Strategic Pricing to drive the pricing strategy and to support the price execution with the local management teams. In addition, you are responsible for monitoring pricing performance and profitability, and compliance across products, regions, and customer segments as well as for developing analytical models for contribution margin calculations.
You act as a strategic partner to senior leaders in Sales, Marketing, and Product Development, advising on pricing levers and commercial models and work in close collaboration with different regions, and contribute meaningfully to the division’s overall success.

What will you do?

  • Drive global price-setting frameworks, discount controls, transfer pricing alignment
  • Identify margin leakage and target pricing gaps; lead initiatives to address price erosion, mix effects, and discounting behavior
  • Challenge channel incentive structures and optimize performance in our project business
  • Monitor pricing performance, profitability, and compliance across products, regions, and customer segments
  • Support simplified, scalable approach to customer agreements for international Key accounts
  • Develop and refine analytical models for contribution margin calculations together with the commercial team

What will you need?

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field in finance or economics
  • 5+ years of finance experience, preferably in pricing in global environment
  • Experience as a finance business partner with an understanding of how business leaders use financial and operational information to make better business decisions
  • Superior written and oral communication skills in English, including the preparation and delivery of effective presentations to senior management
