ABOUT US

Greccio Housing is a local nonprofit that exists to create stable, safe, and supportive affordable housing options for low-income individuals and families who work and live in the Pikes Peak region. Beyond providing affordable housing to lower their cost of living, we offer access to a variety of services, guidance, community events, educational workshops, and ongoing assistance that helps on their path toward self-sufficiency and financial independence. Through Greccio Commercial, we are also able to offer property management services.

EDUCATION

 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferred, in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
 Current CPA certification, preferred

EXPERIENCE

 Minimum of 5 years, 7 years preferred, of progressive experience in bookkeeping/accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior management role within affordable housing, construction, or a closely related field
 Experience with budget development, monthly financial reporting, audits, and compliance
 Direct experience working with Board-level stakeholders, donors, and community partners
 Broad understanding of nonprofit financial systems, including agency, governmental, and funder requirements
 Nonprofit and affordable housing finance experience, preferred
 Familiarity with Yardi property management/accounting software, preferred

SKILLS

 Strong financial acumen in areas such as cost accounting, reporting, auditing, and ongoing compliance
 Deep knowledge of organizational systems and technologies supporting financial and operational performance
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong professional presentation
 High attention to detail, organizational ability, and accuracy in database and financial recordkeeping
 Proficiency in working both independently and collaboratively across teams and departments
 Bilingual, preferred
