JOB SUMMARY AND QUALIFICATIONS

As Controller you will be prompt and efficient processing of all accounting functions preformed in compliance with hospital policies and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL NEED:

• Bachelors Degree required, or Masters Degree preferred
• 5-7 years in healthcare accounting experience

• Provides leadership, direction and administration of the Accounting functions.
• Plans, directs and implements month-end closing process
• Prepares monthly Medicare/Medicaid Exhibits and contractual journal entries.
• Assists in the completion of the monthly Division Narrative report.
• Prepares Monthly Post Closing Review Guide.
• Coordinates and assists in annual budget preparation.
• Coordinates and assists in annual physical inventory.
• Coordinates, reviews and assists in completing Medicare Year End and Internal Audit work papers.
• Performs review and provides assistance in Cash and Payroll Audits.
• Performs review and provides assistance with preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations.
• Performs financial statement review, QMIRS review, and analyzes and interprets results of financial reporting.
