Overview Controller / Head of Financial Control. Department: Finance and Administration División: Thermal Ceramics Country: Chile Site: San Bernardo, Santiago de Chile. Reports to: Finance Manager Argentina & Chile. Direct reports: finance team, administration, supply chain Thermal Ceramics Chile. The Thermal Ceramics division designs, manufactures and installs a broad range of thermal insulation products that significantly reduce energy consumption and emissions in a variety of high temperature processing applications. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Accounting and financial planning Provide adequate and timely periodic financial information, explaining P&L and Balance Sheet KPIs and variations against budgets. Oversee the preparation of financial statements and internal and external audits. Lead the preparation of the annual budget and monthly financial projections, aligning objectives with the corporate strategy. Team coordination and leadership Supervise and coordinate finance activities (taxes, credits and collections, and payments). Coach, train and evaluate staff, encouraging the development of competencies and transversal collaboration. Purchasing and Inventory Management Projection and management of purchases, calculation of costs of local and imported purchases. Coordinate actual cash flow (approval and control of purchase orders and payments, collections, etc.) and projected. Operational and internal control management Ensure compliance with current legal, tax and labor regulations. Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring transparency and robustness in processes. Implement and optimize procedures that strengthen internal control and operational efficiency. Supervise and approve salary settlements, vacation management and personnel files. Institutional relations and management support Maintain contact with banks, insurance agents and tax authorities. Participate in commercial negotiations that impact the operating margin. Oversee fixed asset management. Qualifications Person Specification Education and Acquired Knowledge: What does the role holder need to know? University Degree: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Accountant Auditor, Finance or related field. Knowledge of IFRS and local regulations. Solid understanding of financial analysis and reporting. Experience: What should the role holder be familiar with? 7+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 3 years in a supervisory position. Experience in managing audits, tax compliance and financial reporting processes. Advanced English. Technology and Systems: What tools does the role holder use? Office package (mainly excel), experience/knowledge of ERP systems. Financial competencies: How will the role holder behave in his or her role?
