QUALIFICATIONS

  • Deep knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Proficiency with accounting software.
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible Controller or Assistant Controller experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business required; preference given to those with CPA.
Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and direct all company accounting operations and processes.
  • Manage the consolidation and organization of all company financial data for accurate reporting of operational results.
  • Compile and prepare external and internal financial reports and statements.
  • Coordinate auditing activities and ensure all documentation is accurately represented for auditing.
  • Utilize information about company expenses, spending, revenue, and profitability to make important financial decisions.
  • Create and manage company budgets, documenting all spending and ensuring operational tasks stay within budget.
  • Analyze accounting operations, make financial recommendations for improvement, and implement new strategies and processes.
  • Evaluate and monitor control systems and assess the effectiveness of the company’s accounting software and financial database.
  • Develop, track, and assess business and financial performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Oversee and manage regulatory reporting, including tax preparation and compliance.
