Are you a seasoned financial professional looking for an exciting opportunity to lead and manage the financial operations of a dynamic company? We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our team. This position is preferred to be full-time onsite but offers the flexibility to work in a hybrid model for the right candidate.

With seven warehouses across North America and two Canadian manufacturing facilities, Inland Plastics provides custom textile solutions at all scales. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or a related field. CPA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a senior accounting or financial management role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP Business One).
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of US based financial practices and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, payroll, financial reporting and office administration.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manage the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing financial analysis and reporting.
  • Coordinate and manage external audits and tax filings.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management.
  • Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Provide leadership within the office environment as it relates to the corporate administrative function.
