To protect your workforce, we are at your fingertips: internationalsos.com Job Description Reporting to the CFO GSBL, the Controller USGS will be responsible for US Government contract accounting and reporting compliance with Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) audit requirements, and SGS and TMS Disclosure Statement compliance. Including preparation and maintenance of the SGS and TMS Disclosure statements, review and maintenance of accounting, billing, procurement and other system process compliance with US Government contracting regulations, and lead and/or support client cost or pricing data reviews and DCAA audits. The Controller USGS will work closely with the GSBL Financial Controller and accounting team on the statutory accounting, financial controls and processes to ensure accuracy of the financial data for Government Services legal entities. General Responsibilities To act as US Government contracting accounting compliance expert and be the regional point of contact with the GSBL, SGS and TMS F&A team Review of the overall financials (including balance sheet accounts and intercompany items) of the LE’s and sub-locations under remit during the monthly and year-end close process to ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions. Coordination and review of all critical accounting transactions processed by Government Services team, GSS teams, Payroll accounting and Accounts Payable Collaborate with Financial Controllers, Financial Operations, and FP&A to ensure data integrity in financial planning and management reporting. Serve as liaison for government auditors, financial auditors and regulatory bodies. Responsible for maintaining and updating compliant policies and procedures documentation Continuously review work processes to ensure efficient and compliant workflow to maximize staff efficiency and quality of information flow with other departments. Provide leadership and guidance to direct and functional reports as well as continuous monitoring and assessment of performance and career development. US Government Contract Compliance Disclosure Statement preparation, submission, audits and maintenance. Ensure adherence to US Government contracting financial regulations including Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DCAA requirements. Maintain Government compliant accounting system processes. Implement and optimize accounting and ERP system processes to meet US Government contract requirements. Responsible for identification, documentation, development and implementation of policies and procedures and processes to mitigate key compliance risks related to the rules established in DFARS, FAR, CAS, DCAA CAM and SGS cost accounting practices as defined the SGS Disclosure Statement. Perform routine monitoring reviews for Disclosure Statement, CAS and FAR compliance, i.e. allocations, labor distribution, direct and indirect cost, and WBS reporting structure. Manage Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) audits and resolution of DCAA audit findings.
