POSITION OVERVIEW:

Lambert Nemec Group is partnering with a respected and growth-focused organization in their search for a Controller. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced accounting and finance leader to take ownership of the financial function, guide strategic initiatives, and play a key role in driving the organization’s continued success and growth.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5–10 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience, including supervisory or leadership responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a CPA or CMA designation is preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of GAAP or IFRS and hands-on experience with financial reporting and analysis.
• Proven ability to lead teams, implement process improvements, and support organizational growth initiatives.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.

• Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and capital planning to maintain a healthy financial position.
• Lead and mentor a small accounting team, ensuring operational efficiency and professional development.
• Drive process improvements and leverage technology to enhance reporting, analysis, and overall financial performance.
• Partner with senior leadership to support business growth and operational initiatives with sound financial guidance.
